While the program, which offers four medical respite beds for women who need transitional medical support, is housed in an MHM facility, NHFHS will provide clinical and other professional staff and oversight.

“We are pleased to continue our partnership with Miracle Hill Ministries to further serve some of the most vulnerable in our community,” said NHFHS President and Chief Executive Officer Regina M. Mitchell. “Women experiencing homelessness deserve a safe place to receive medical attention and continue their recovery when they no longer require hospitalization.”

In 2019, the two organizations previously partnered to launch a similar program for men at Greenville Rescue Mission, which has held six medical respite beds and provided care to over 30 people.[/vc_column_text][tm_spacer size=”lg:50″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
